Same-Sex Blessings


One of the major controversies facing Episcopalians today is the blessing of same-sex relationships. There are extremely strong sentiments on both sides of this issue. Some churches adhere to a strict ban on such blessings, while others have taken an affirmative stand that gays and lesbians should be included in the recognition of their committed relationships.
