So, Just Who Is the
Bishop’s Commission?
We are a group of parishioners and clergy from around the
Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles, who meet on a monthly
basis to formulate outreach to our sisters and brothers who
are lesbian or gay. We are the tangible proof that both our current bishop, the
Rt. Rev. J. Jon Bruno, and our retired bishop,
the Rt. Rev. Fred Borsch, (along with Bishop Suffragan Chester L. Talton and
Bishop Assisting Robert Anderson) care greatly about gay and lesbian people. The
Commission was first convened in August 1995.
