Student Exchange Program Affiliations

Student exchange programs may decide to join any one, or more member organizations.  The following member organizations all charge a fee to the exchange program, and each offers different benefits.  An exchange program DOES NOT NEED to join any of the organizations to operate.  For a U.S. exchange program to be legally able to sponsor bringing exchange students from around the world into the United States, they only MUST BE designated as an Exchange Visitor Program by the U.S. State Department.

An exchange program that is a member of any, or all of the following member organizations does not mean that it is a better exchange program than another one that elected not to join, but may mean that they had to meet certain requirements to join one of these organizations.  Like anything else, ask three people, and you may get three different opinions.  One student exchange program may prefer to join one one member organization vs. another, another student exchange program may choose not to have their student exchange program join any member organization.  Ask yet another student exchange program, and they may elect to join all member organizations.  Joining any of these member organizations is strictly voluntary  To this, StudentExchange.net does not support, or endorse any of the following member organizations.  We are simply listing them here to allow YOU to see what member organizations the exhange programs are able to join.  The organizations are listed in alphabetical order.
