I created this page because I'm math-challenged. It's a collection of various Web-based calculators that will do everything from figure mortgage payments, to percentage, to convert currency. It'll even help you figure out how many board feet of lumber you need for you next building project.

Percentages I hate to admit this but I sometimes have trouble figuring percentages. Since I sometimes write business stories, I end up messing with percentages a lot. Even when I do it right, I'll worry that I have things reversed. So I use this site.

Date Calculator No this won't fix you up with a blonde. Instead, it will tell you how many days there are between two calendar dates. I needed this the other day, since one of the licenses I hold can be renewed beginning 90 days before it's expiration.

Salary Calculator  Let's say that I'm able to quit my job in Atlanta and move to a house on the lake in Hot Springs, Ark. This calculator will tell you that if I earned $100,000 here, I'd just need a little over $71,000 in Hot Springs, to maintain the same lifestyle.

Body Mass Here's a depressing one. Use this to find out just how fat you are.

U.S. Postal rates Find out how much it should cost to send a letter, package or postcard to any place in the U.S. or abroad.

Bar Codes Type in a number and convert it to a bar code.

Cooking measure Use this to convert various measures used in cooking.

Crypto Cracker OK. So you just got a secret message that you can't read. Type in the message here and this program will attempt to crack it. If you don't often get secret messages you can use this to solve cryptograms that you find in the newspaper.

European clothing sizes  There's a whole different system to labeling clothing sizes in Europe. This converter will tell you that if you wear a size 7 dress here, you'll need to shop for a 34 in parts of Europe, a 9 in the U.K or a 6 in Japan. Also converts shoe and sweater sizes.

Water weight If you need to carry along 8 gallons of water on your next sailing trip, this calculator will tell you that you will lugging 66.7621129 pounds to the boat.

Telephone numbers Businesses do it all the time - use a telephone number that spells out the name of the business or product. Here's a way to find out if your own telephone number spells anything interesting.
