The Big City Bear Co. bears are delighted that you've stopped by for a visit! They are a friendly lot of bears...and exceedingly polite. Big City Bear Co. (BCBC) bears are indeed from the big city--Detroit, Michigan, USA, to be exact. Each BCBC bear takes its name from a street in Detroit, and the bears will be glad to tell you a little about the history of his or her street. Big City Bear Co. bears are made with great care by Amy Lobsiger. The bears DEMAND (very politely, of course) quality materials--including imported mohair, taxidermy-quality glass eyes, wool felt, Ultrasuede, poly pellets and Airtex Premium stuffing. All bears are fully jointed with cotter pins and hardboard joints. Some of the bears have wobble-joints which makes them delightfully poseable and full of expression. Because of some of the materials that are used in the bears, please realize that the bears are NOT CHILD-SAFE; they are for adult collectors.
