Less than his best is never considered, this evident in how very smoothly his motors spin round at a touch-- every fit and finish contributing to a quality feel, and all masses now at identical weights for best balance.
The mounting boss for the electric foot is seen to be empty - this to be fitted after initial running in and adjustments and corrections are satisfactory, this to lessen overloading of the starter mechanism as suggested by its maker.
Also seen is the vacuum hose between inlet manifolds to assist more even running at idle and low speeds, and the new rocker oil feed system which eliminates all those leaky joints and gaskets - all now replaced by modern O rings, this advance utilized throughout the entire motor. Oil tightness should be of a modern standard never before seen in a conventional Vincent motor. (Also note that both carbs are now in the full vertical position. When this picture was taken Bill had yet to message the fins to allow for such placement.)
The additional fin area incorporated on both heads and cylinders fits in beautifully with the original sweep and beauty of Irving's original organic flowing line while adding measurably to the cooling effect, the greater power generated matched by this greater heat rejection . All of this showing the scope and balance of Terry Prince's marvelous modifications, nothing left to chance - or wishful thinking.
