Computerized Room Modeling and Pre-Construction Performance Predictions
As required for our own project specific clarifications, Birdwell Acoustics, Inc. may use computerized room modeling techniques to create three-dimensional, wire frame room models. These models may then be used to analyze the acoustical effects of various room and finish characteristics and provide performance data on sound reinforcement system designs including loudspeaker coverage and aiming data, intelligibility predictions, % loss of consonants (%Alcons) speech transmission indexes, sound pressure levels (both direct and summations of direct and reverberent energy) and predictions for musical clarity. Other performance predictions for reverberation time, acoustic gain potentials and reflection problems are also available.
