Environmental and Architectural Noise Impact Studies
Investigation and measurement services of noise for critical listing areas, noise criteria ratings (NC) conformance and verifying the performance levels of any particular noise control designs (specifically constructed floors, walls or ceilings) is provided. Noise impact studies and assessments are required for environmental noise sources, including airports and other transportation facilities, vehicular traffic and crowd levels for conformance with OSHA or local code ordinances, as well as, for use in signal-to-noise requirements in designs of sound reinforcement systems for optimum signal level and clarity. Provisions for timed measurements include maximum, minimum, and overall equivalent noise levels and time based percentile level exceedings.
