Introduction
Formed as a Tennessee corporation in 1996, Birdwell Acoustics, Inc., is a Nashville based consulting and design firm. Providing specialized consulting services in various areas of acoustics, electro-acoustics and noise control, Birdwell Acoustics serves clientele in Tennessee, as well as, other areas of the United States.
Birdwell Acoustics, Inc., was formed by Barry C. Birdwell to provide architects, engineers and a broad range of general public clientele with quality acoustical consulting and systems design services. We provide a full compliment of client services which in turn provides a single point of contact during the design and construction stages.

The firm's business philosophies are simple:
To provide a high
standard of quality and value in acoustic and electro-acoustic system designs.
To raise the
level of the quality of such designs from commonly used "canned" specifications
to specifications that are customized and truly unique to the plan itself
and which offer properly integrated results.
To allow the
client's direct input on what type of system design would be most beneficial
to their level of programming. To eliminate the confusion commonly associated
with the issues and questions the client or "end-user" has by not having
been directly involved. Questions that typically range from, "so, what are
we getting anyway", to "no one ever asked us what we really needed" and "it
would have been nice if we could have had that feature".
To be responsive
to the specific needs of the client and feel a sense of urgency to matters related
to working with them.
To provide the
highest level of professionalism, honesty and integrity. To put forth our
best effort in everything we undertake.
These philosophies were developed to help form lasting professional and personable relationships with architects, engineers and end-user clientele. Our goal is to generate a heightened level of recognition and respect for, as well as, demonstrate the value of, acoustical, electro-acoustical and specialized consulting of these types in the engineering community. To provide the industry with an insight on the importance of the attentions to these subjects to the success of the project.
