The Intro Live Wishes to Thank ---

Darryl Hurd
The founder and first host of THE INTRO - which was originally a satellite broadcast, heard on 20 shortware stations worldwide. His professional style could have landed him a job on any secular station in the country, but he is totally dedicated to Christian music. He worked tirelessly for over 10 years to establish a Christian Hit Radio station in Orlando, and sadly left the area before an Orlando station came on the air.
Robert "K-BOB" Padrick
Long time host of THE INTRO and friend of Darryl Hurd, he was an expert with the board. His "Sweating with K-BOB" segment was a favorite with listeners. He specialized in Dance, Rave, and Club music.
Shane Stanton
Long time host of THE INTRO - He decided to concentrate on his own show - Alternative Reign.
Dave Carter
No relation - he used to do a really cool show called Rolling Thunder on WAPN. He was always willing to help out by filling in as a host when our regulars can't be there. His laid back style on the air is really popular, but don't be fooled. His music ROCKS!
Chris Martin
Former host of the Crossroads show on WAPN, he helped out with THE INTRO occasionally. He has moved to Maine to be near family, and re-vitalize some Christian stations there.
Serita
Co-host of The Crossroads, she had no desire to be on the air for over two years. Once she got the "bug", there was no stopping her! She specialized in being a gracious hostess for visitors at WAPN during the crossroads and Intro programs.

Dawn

Dawn with Sarah Dawn was one of our last - and best announcers, and a good friend. She enjoys rollerblading, swimming, basketball, singing, the mall, and the beach. She is shown with Sarah, who played "music director" one night and ejected "Breakfast" by the Newsboys because she wanted me to hurry up and play her favorite song: "Jesus Freak" by D.C. Talk!

Nicole

NicoleAlso one of our last - and best announcers, and also a good friend. She loves talking on the phone with friends, going to clubs, listening to all types of music, going to the beach, and the AOL chat lines.

Kara

KaraPopular host of THE INTRO Live - her cute voice and personality could have taken her far in the radio profession, but she was not interested in continuing. Her special loves are cheerleading, and dancing.

Amanda

AmandaToo shy to go on the air, she was a trusted advisor, ready to offer moral support whenever the going got tough. Whenever you do anything for the Lord, the Devil is going to attack. This goes double for those of us who program Christian rock music. Amanda cared - about all of us.
Tabitha
Tabitha was a host. On her first show, she did fine, but the producer messed up twice!
Jenny
Jenny was a co-host, usually with Dawn.
Gary
A veteren of Christian radio, and a student at Embry Riddle University.
Chris
Chris (not Chris Martin) was a co-host, and he is 18.
Faith
Our "Faith"ful babysitter - too shy to go on the air, but was always there to watch Sarah.
Billy
Billy was our "behind the scenes" promoter - distributing flyers, promotes concerts, and lines up sponsors. He also helped our staff select music, and answered telephones.
Barbara
Nicole's mother, she answered telephones when she came with Nicole.
Lonnie
Lonnie was a co-host, she is 16. On her first night at the radio station, she dived into the long, boring RED BOOK of rules enthusiastically - she must have LOVED this job a LOT! Lonnie is a very good student, who is in the ROTC program at her school. Lonnie has moved to the Houston area.
Chrissy
Chrissy was with us almost from the beginning as a receptionist - answering the phones and doing paperwork. She moved to Altoona just before we started training our volunteers to go on the air, but she finally got her chance to go on the air one summer. She is good on the air, it is just a shame she does not live in Florida any more.
Amy
Amy was another volunteer with us from the beginning - answering the phones and doing paperwork. She never really got the chance to go on the air, moving away long before we gave young people the opportunity to announce.
Rosa
One of Dawn's best friends, Rosa sometimes joined her on the air. Rosa moved - PLEASE PRAY for this nice girl.
Loni
Loni is very nice and a lot of fun. She is so small - we joke that if we hug her hard enough, she will disappear!
Nicole
A different Nicole - she really enjoys doing the radio show when she can be there.
The Lunds, Gordon and Earlyne, and their daughter Shellye Vallance
Who allowed us on the air for 7 years!
