Friends  Update

Friends of the Camden Archives and Museum continue to pursue their goal of expansion and renovation of The Archives and Museum building.  The current fund drive has netted over $535,000.00 in pledges and funds.  Cost of both projects is projected to be $650,000.00.  Architectural drawings are underway and it is expected that construction of the new wing will begin in the spring of 2004.  Once the wing is completed, renovations of the present facility will begin.  If you wish to help with the project,  please send donations to Camden Archives and Museum, Attn:  Ed Royall, 1314 Broad Street, Camden, SC 29020.  Donations may be made in memory of or in honor of a family or family member.
