NY Visit With Kris: Sept. 24-Oct. 2, 2005

One of our first days there I finally got to introduce Kris to my Sneester and Rob. We went to the Guggenheim museum and had a yummy lunch on 9th ave.
Left: Mid-week we went hiking in some of my favorite spots. New Paltz should've been ablaze with fall colors... but we were plenty happy with green too.
Right: This is at the top of my favorite spot, in Keene Vally, NY, where I first started hiking. Looking out from the top of Roaring Brook Falls... seemingly just a brook dropping over this cliff.

Right: We then hiked accross Giant mountain and this is Giant's Washbowl, a lake near the end of the hike.
