Left: Sunrise over a lake 4 hours North of Tucson Right: Friend Scott next to Organ Pipe cactus, 4 hours southwest of Tucson...he thinks it looks alien.

Saguaro (sa-waa-row) cactus in Western Tucson Mountains (45-min drive and 1 hour hike from my apartment).

Left: Butterfly on a flower Right: Lizard on a rock
Left: Cute little hedgehog cactus next to purple Lupen, nestled in rocks. Right: Me hiking in autumn atop Mount Lemmon -- I couldn't tell if it was cool or not, and adjusted layers haphazzardly, so pardon the wacky combo outfit. (1/2 hour drive and 1/2 hour hike from my apartment)
This is a view of Tucson at dusk from atop Wasson Peak in the Western Mountains (so the view faces east, and the sunset is behind me.) (45 min drive, 3 hour hike from my apartment).
Left: This is a nice colorful plaza about 1 block from my office (my office is a similar structure, but just plain white with blue stairs.) Right: Twin saguaro cactus near the main downtown church, a block from my office.
Left: There are so many ruins in Arizona! Here's me with a big adobe-house ruin near sunset crater, near the Grand Canyon, 5 hours north from my apartment. Right: Here's a view from inside that ancient adobe ruin.
