Flat Bread - Fladbrød

Stir all ingredients together. Beat well.

Roll out into very thin circles on a floured board.

These may be cooked in either of two ways: Bake on a greased griddle on top of the stove over a hot fire until brown and crisp at the edges like pancakes. Or, if you're doubling or tripling this recipe, bake each thin sheet of dough on a greased griddle on top of the stove over a moderately hot flame for a few moments, then put on baking sheet and slip them into a 400° oven to finish browning while you're starting the next sheet on the griddle.
