Pork Roast and Sauerkraut in Beer - Skinke og Surkål med Øl

Serves 5 Simmer the sauerkraut, pepper, garlic and beer on top of the stove for 2 hours.

Brown the pork roast on all sides. Place the kraut around the roast in a baking or roasting pan. Cook in a preheated 325° oven for 1¾ hours or until very tender.

Serve with plain boiled potatoes, grated fresh horseradish and beet and apple salad.
