Drayton P. Mintz (15 Sept 1839 - 1892) Born in Spartanburg County, SC, the 2nd child of John B. and Jane K. Mintz.

Drayton married Malissa Camp, also known as Adalissa prior to 1860.

I believe that Drayton served in the Confederate Army. However, I have yet to figure out the regiment. Drayton died in 1892 and his estate was probated in York County, SC.

In the 1900 census, Malissa was living with their only child, John D. H. Mintz and his wife.
