Welcome to the Clan Donald in North Carolina Website! Clan Donald-USA is a direct extension of the Clan Donald in Scotland, and as such, we are not a Clan Association but part of the Clan itself. We are a major component of the Southeast Region, one of the largest and most active regions of the thirteen regions in the United States. We share the Region with our closely integrated sister states, South Carolina and Georgia. North Carolina has been at the forefront of Highland immigration since the 1720s, comprising one of the largest settlements in the New World of Highland Scots and most notably those from Clan Donald lands and ancestry since the earliest days of our Nation. Clan Donald in North Carolina today is also at the forefront of activities for the benefit of those with Scottish ancestry or interest in Scottish heritage.
