Who Are We?

Well, that's a pretty good question. And what exactly do we do? To answer that, first take a look at our history. This is important, in that we feel a common familial bond, that is to say, shared descendants and heritage. To us, Clan Donald is a big extended family with a proud history and reputation of being one of the largest and most powerful of the Scottish Highland Clans. This shared history brings us together, regardless of age, color, or social status.

As to what we do, that too is tied to our heritage. One of the things we enjoy is exploring the history of Clan Donald, and our part in it. Each person shares what they know of their lineage, and the rest of us, with the help of the clan genealogist, tries to find the links in our common family tree.

But, clan membership is more than just history, it is about kinship. And, as any family does at a reunion, we socialize. Much time is spent around the clan tent, or at the ceilidh (party) after the games. We catch up on each other's lives, tell stories, and just plain have a good time, as any family would.

So, if this sounds like your kind of crowd, or the kind of experience you would like to share, stop by our clan tent at the games or email us using this form. We look forward to seeing you.
