Sutton's physical education program promotes knowledge and skills through
participation in individual, dual, and team sports. Physical Education is a one semester
course in sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. Health is offered as a one semester course in
the eighth grade.
Competitive & Intramural Sports: Sutton offers competitive
baseball, softball, boy's and girl's soccer, football, basketball, track, team handball,
and cheerleading.
Sutton's PTA sponsors soccer and baseball, and is proud to have supported city
champions in boy's soccer and baseball in league competition against other neighborhood
parochial schools.
An intramural program across a wide spectrum of sports allows students to
participate, learn team skills, and advance personal development in a non-academic
setting.
