Sixth Grade Teams at Sutton
Sixth grade has three teams: NIKE, POWER, and STAR. Each letter stands for a
positive word. STAR stands for Students That Are Remarkable, with three great teachers,
Ms. Fudge for science, Ms. Timar for math and social studies, and Ms. Tahtinen for
language arts and reading. The POWER team stands for Positive Objectives With Excellent
Results. Ms. Long for Math and social studies, Ms. Smith for science and Ms. Jones for
language arts and reading. Finally the NIKE team, Nurturing, Intelligence, Knowledge and
Education. With Ms. Brochstein who teaches science, Ms. Bennet who teaches Math,
Ms.Cunningham who teaches language arts and Ms. Middlebrooks who teaches social studies.
