Shining Rock Wilderness

Friday, October 20, 2000 -- Annie makes sure that I'm setting up the tent correctly. This campsite was brought to us courtesy of Boy Scout Troop 180 from Lancaster, SC, who very kindly allowed us to use a location at one end of the large meadow that they found. It was a wonderful site, one of the best I've ever had on a hiking trip. I hope we can find it again (assuming I could ever convince the Wife to return to this place!). photo by Wifey
