Saturday, October 21, 2000 -- Annie and I take a break along the Old Butt Knob Trail near Beech Spring Gap. This was the high point of the day, in a couple of ways -- we were about 5,900 feet above sea level at this point, and the trail was easy. It soon became terribly challenging. photo by Wifey
