Well, after some poking around, I have learned that a certain scene in this past Tuesday's episode of Buffy was the doing of the Abominable Marti Noxious. I hate her. She has some halfway decent writing skills, but she has far too much of a leaning towards melodrama and blatant soap-operaish elements.

A fairly good opinion of a certain scene in Buffy last night:
So... I guess the moral of the story here is: Girls, don't get involved with a man who's trying to turn his life around because you are just a female and therefore a victim and even though his history of violence has NOTHING TO FUCKING do with RAPE he will eventually try to rape you because that's what bad men do. And you will not be able to fight him off even if you just happen have super-human powers because you are female and a VICTIM and have to just lay there and cry and beg not to be raped. The only men you CAN trust are narrow-minded and judgemental pricks who will keep you on the straight and narrow by highlighting everything you do wrong. The worst a guy like that will do to you is leave you stranded at the altar.

What a huge pile of HORSE SHIT!!
