Dual Results: My sphere is Soldier (Unity in Strength and Action), and my class is Rogue (Precise and Unhindered). I am a Dark Artist. If you were in the Republican Convention during Nixon's term of office, you would have been the one they sent to spy on and infiltrate Democratic Headquarters at Watergate. This isn't to say that you're a man of black operations or ill repute, but more to say that you have the efficiency and swift approach to carry out these tenuous, sometimes questionable, goals when most of your comrades might balk. My sphere is Ronin (Look for great Ambition and Success), and my class is Rogue (Precise and Unhindered). I am a Boss. A true executive. There's no two ways about it -- bosses like being bosses. Whether good or bad, they're good at taking charge, and the fact that they expect of their underlings nothing short of perfect efficiency secures their position at the top. Heh

Let's talk about BUffy for a moment. Season 1 of Buffy is fluff. Pure and simple. No deep or angstful stories to be found there, nope. Season 2 is interesting. For while it comes with several episodes that rank among the worst over, the overall storyline to Season 2 is the best they've done so far. Unfortunately, the superb storyline is tempered by the fact that the key episodes of that season are, no joke, clinical depression in a box. I mean, let's look at the other Vampire Hunter, Anita Blake(this is relevant because Laurell K. Hamilton saw the finale to Season 2 and has publicly said in interviews that she would NEVER do something that horrible to Anita.) Then we come to Season 3, which many regard as the best one of all. And in the sense that it strikes the best balance between Super-Angst and solid storytelling, it is. After that, we get Season 4, where everyone turns into caricatures of themselves and the season flopped. Season 5 is a good one, hindered by flaws in the writers' abilities that were rapidly becoming apparent at that point as well as miscasting certain parts.
And finally we come to Season 6, the Season that never was,(afaic). It had promise at first, but by the end we had multiple rehashings of the same event over and over, mischaracterizations of the core cast members, no Giles, Spike somehow becoming a rapist despite not ONE single shred of evidence to support this in the past, no Giles, and the evil that is Marti Noxon, and the dreaded fact that they couldn't maintain consistency from episode to episode as to how certain characters were supposed to act, and no Giles.
All in all, while I will watch Season 7 because I have followed Buffy from the beginning, I don't have much faith in the season being worth watching at all.

"Any pile of stunted growth unaware that entertainment is just that and nothing more, deserves to doom themselves to some dank cell, somewhere, for having been so stupid!! Movies, books, TV, music - they're all just entertainment, not guidebooks for damning yourself!" - Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, 1997
