Little Known Facts about Chris Jamison

 

expbul1a  I grew up on a Dairy Farm in New York State.  I can milk a cow, bale hay, etc.

expbul1a  My first car was a 1967 Mercury Cougar XR7.  I bought it in 1981, and sold it for parts in 1988.

expbul1a  I am not allowed to donate blood.  I lived in the United Kingdom for more than 6 months between 1980 and 2000, and therefore am at risk for transmitting mad cow disease.

expbul1a  I shook hands with Colin Powell in 1996 at a computer trade show (CA-World in New Orleans).  I doubt he remembers it.

expbul1a  I have been to every state east of the Mississippi, except Mississippi.  8/2003:  I made it to MS while on a business trip to Memphis, TN.

expbul1a  In 1983, I won 6th place in the national FBLA Economics competition (held in San Francisco).

expbul1a  My favorite sport to compete in:  Volleyball / Walleyball.

expbul1a  My favorite sport to watch:  Baseball.

expbul1a  I have rafted on the Colorado river (1990).

expbul1a  I almost summited Ben Nevis (1998).

expbul1a  I used to show Dairy cows in the Orange Co. (NY) Fair.

expbul1a  I saw the Loch Ness Monster (1991).  Really!  I was driving on the south shore of Loch Ness and saw in my rear view mirror something floating through the water.  When I turned around to look, it was gone.

expbul1a  I truly enjoy splitting firewood with an axe.

expbul1a  In college, I was chosen by my project-mates as the one to be letterer for our group project.  Because I had the neatest handwriting among the four of us.  Yes, it’s true!

expbul1a  My first paying job off the farm was as a checkout bagger at Lloyd’s (an early ‘super-store’ in Middletown, NY).
