The following information is from an information sheet on the 'GM Supplier New Vehicle Purchase Program Plus'. I wish to share some of this information. Below is questions and answers, quoted from the sheet that GM sent to my company.

Q. Who is eligible?
A. Employees (active hourly and salary, not including contract) at U.S. locations of select companies that provide goods or services to General Motors.

Q. What is the discount?
A. Each dealer invoice will list a "GMS" price, which is the price a General Motors employee would pay for that vehicle purchased out of dealer stock. Your cost is the "GMS" price plus 3%.

Q. How long is the discount available?
A. This offer is valid for new and unused GM vehicles retail-delivered through September 30, 2000.

Q. How many vehicles am I eligible to purchase/lease?
A. One vehicle per eligible employee. The vehicle must be retained a minimum of six months if purchased and 12 months if acquired through a GMAC Smartlease.

Q. How do I get an approved GM Form 1753, and how long does it take?
A. Call Program Headquarters at 1-800-960-3375; provide your name, Social Security number, home address and phone number. Then fax to 1-888-358-7312, or mail a photocopy of your current pay stub or employee ID Badge to: GM Supplier New Vehicle Purchase Program Plus, Program Headquarters, P.O. Box 33085, Detroit, MI 48233-5085. Upon receipt of your employee documentation, it will take approximately 3-5 business days to arrive. The GM Form 1753 will be valid through September 30,2000.

Q. Can I receive this discount from any GM Dealer?
A. This program is available through all participating U.S. GM Dealers and is voluntary on the part of the dealers. Dealer participation is on a vehicle by vehicle basis. Please inform your dealer of your intention to use the GM Supplier New Vehicle Purchase Program Plus during your first contact with your dealer. If for some reason your dealer elects not to participate, you may visit another GM Dealer.
