"Overcoming Fear and Insecurities"

By way of introduction to this subject I want to share a few statements
about fear.

Know this, Fear is the devils dark room for developing his negatives. 
Fear is also the perverted force of faith, and it operates in the devils
realm like faith operates in God's realm.

In order to operate in the realm of the Spirit you must exercise faith.
So we can say that fear will produce in the Negative like Faith produces
in the Possitive.

Job said, "The thing I feared most is come upon me."  So the things he
imagined and thoght in his mind literally came to pass in his life
simply because he had given credance and given birth to them by
imagining these terrible images in his mind.

It should not surprise us that the devil is using fear like never before
to intimidate and manipulate many of God's children.

The word of God is clear, "God has not given us the spirit of fear" stop
for a moment, did you notice it said spirit of fear, That's right fear
is a spirit and it is from the devil.  Now contiuing the verse in II Tim
1:7 but God has given us to us the spirit of power and love and a sound
mind."

So I repeat Fear produces in the negative realm life Faith produces in
the possitive realm."

Proverbs 4:23 says "Keep the heart with all diligence for out of it
comes the issues of life."

We also know out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
The devil knows what he can get in your heart and mind will come to pass
in time.  We are admonished in Eph 4:27 "Neither give place to the
devil."

Ignorance is very costly!!  Remember Paul said in I Cor 2:11 "I will not
be ignorant of Satans devices lest he hath advantage over me"

The fact is if we are ignorant of Satan's devices he will have an
advantage over you.

Make no mistake about it friends we are in a real war today and what
Satan desires to do is to tear down YOUR FAITH 
                          TEAR DOWN YOUR CONFIDENCE
                          TEAR DOWN YOUR DTERMINATION
                          TEAR DOWN YOUR COMMITMENT in the promises of
God.  

If the devil can get you to doubt God's wsdord in one little thing.
He will get you to doubt in many other things, and that's when you have
to stand firm.  "And having done all to stand, stand therefore"

It is time for God's people to be like a tree planted by the rivers of
water.  It is time to take a stand!!

Standing says somethings.  It says I am not moved by what is going on
around me.  Hear this, it is when you have done all to stand and are
still standing that the devil will come and laugh in your face.  So you
are a faith person.  You told everybody you were believing God for this
or that situation.  Are you still there?  Just checking.

You went around telling people you were healed, look at you now.
You told people God led you to do that, and look at the mess you are in
now.

Listen to me, Just because you get into a mess does not mean you missed
God or that you are out of the will of God or that God has some how
abandoned you.  The devil is a liar!!

See we get the idea because we heard from God nothing is going to go
wrong.
Listen God told Abraham he was going to have a son and he confessed
God's word for 25 years.  Abraham called those things that were not as
though they were.

Romans 4 tells us that Abraham staggered not at the promise of God but
believed what God promised he was able to perform.

Has God promised you something, I tell you it is to soon to quit. In
fact I believe you are probably on the brink of your miracle.  The devil
probably know that as well and that is why you are going through waht
you are going through.  May I encourage you then not to focus on what
you are going through but focus on where you are going to.

Get your eyes off the problems and get them on the promises of God.
The fact is what ever you are focusing on right now is the biggest thing
in your life.  I heard it said,  "you and I are moving in the direction
of our most dominant thoughts.  So if you can change your thoughts you
can change your world.

NOW TURN IN YOUR BIBLE TO THE BOOK OF PSALMS,  I BELIEVE THIS IS 
GOING
TO BLESS YOU, PSALM 112:1 "Praise the Lord, blessed, happy, fortuanate.
to be envied is the man that feareth the Lord.  Stop!  Now there is a
good kind of fear, this refers to respect, and reverance for God.
v.2 "his seed hsall be mighty upon earth; the generation of the upright
shall be blessed. 3. Wealth and riches shall be in his house and his
righteousness endureth for ever. 4.Unto the upright there ariseth light
in the darkness: he is gracious,  and full of compassion, and righteous.
5. A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs
with discretion.  6. Surely he shall not be moved for ever; the
righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

NOw get verse 7. "He hsall not be araid of evil tidings; his heart is
fixed, trusting in the Lord."  His heart is established, he shall not be
afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.

The word is replete with the admonitions,   Fear not, Fear not, Fear
not!  Isa 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with you; be not dismayed; for I
am thy God; I will strengthen thee; yea I will help thee; hea, I will
uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."

Hear this Matt 10:29, "Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? (2
cents)  you can even buy a bubble gum for that these days.
Are not two sparrows, say two sparrows. for two cents.
Are you following me? Read on "and one of them" "and one of them"
sparrows shall not fall on the ground without your father.  In other
words Jesus is saying two of them is only worth 2 cents and yet when one
of them falls and hits the ground, the heavenly father knows exactly
what is going on.  v.30 But the very hairs of your head are all
numbered.  God is aware of you this day, he has not forgotten or
forsaken you.  This is your hour, God is bringing you out, Just as
Daniel came out of the lions den,  you are coming out.  Just as Jonah
came out of the belly of the whale, you are coming out.  Just as Paul
and Silas prayed and praise God in prison and came out, You are coming
out.  Why don't start praising God right now for your deliverance."

Jesus said Fear not you are of more value than many sparrows.  I close
this message by telling you that God is with yhou and He is for you.

I now declare over you that no weapon formed against you will prosper
and every tongue that rises in Judgement we condemn, In Jesus Name,
