WHY EXPLORE REINCARNATION ?

Most people who have an open mind and are willing to explore, find the idea of reincarnation very persuasive and through their individual experiences they become convinced that the idea is valid. We have documented case after case of healings, both physical and emotional that require an understanding that could only come from a memory somewhere deep in the subconscious. Much of the evidence being gathered today throughout many fields of science is of a truly impressive, convincing nature. Ian Stevenson, Carlson Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Virginia Medical School, author of two significant books and years of research has contributed a wealth of documented information proving the possibility of reincarnation.

While we cannot scientifically prove the existence of reincarnation, we also cannot prove the existence of God in acceptable philosophical terms. However, the majority of people believe in God. If you ask them why they believe in God they may say no one told them there was a God or their priest or someone who was supposed to know told them.

In an interview published in Today's Living, Dali said, "As for me, I am not only a mystic: I am the reincarnation of the greatest Spanish mystics. I can remember vividly my life as St. John, of experiencing divine union, of undergoing the Dark Night of the Soul. I can remember the monastery and I can remember many of St. John's fellow monks," of which he writes with so much feeling.

The doctrine of reincarnation was followed by even the Christian church, no doubt under the influence of Eastern philosophies and they held to the doctrine of rebirth until the year 553 B.C. That year the doctrine was rejected by the Second Council of Constantinople, one-third of the bishops present, voting for the retention of the doctrine and the rest voting against: one assertion is that the doctrine was voted out because it conflicted with the assumed powers of the priest class to remit sins. Clearly, the priest class would not let mere philosophical assertions come in the way of temporal power.

In my experience, personal and through the process of regressing thousands of clients over the past 35 years into memories which are unexplained without a belief in reincarnation, I am convinced beyond a doubt that we have lived many, many lives before and will continue to experience lives in a physical body in the future. For those who are interested we are fortunate to have at our disposal hundreds of books that describe the experience of past lives and the results of their discovery. There is no doubt that lives are being changed with the process.

Regression Therapy is a process of uncovering painful memories of present and past lives. By releasing the frozen blocks,it is possible to become aware of an inner strength, allowing the client to make better choices by releasing fears, anger and guilt. Immediate results can be realized. For greater understanding read, Many Lives, Many Masters, by Dr. Brian Weiss. (Dr. Long is presently writing a book relating to results of past life therapy which will be available in 1999).

Releasing Energies is a process of becoming aware of attached energies which create confusion and unwanted behavior, releasing them and assisting them in becoming aware of the light so they can move forward to a higher consciousness. To understand the process and possibilities read, The Unquiet Dead, by Dr. Edith Fiore
