I am trying to do my husband's family tree. Only problem is he only knows his dad. His parents were seperated when he was young. His father is from Kentucky. His name is Robert Andrew Craycraft. My name is Paul Ryan Craycraft and I happened across your page via yahoo.
I currently live in Troy, Ohio. I grew up in Marion, Ohio where most of my immediate family still resides. My grandparents moved to Marion in the 1940's from the Portsmouth, Ohio area (Stanley Craycraft and Evelyn Schwamburger Craycraft). They had 8 children:
There are 19 grand children and 22 great grandchildren with 3 on the way as well as 4 great-great grandchildren.
Stanley died in about 1975 and Evelyn is still living in Marion. All others are still living as well.

I'm very interested in your wbesite, which I discovered by accident earlier tonight. I don't see any references to my known family members, but since your material emphasizes Kentucky and, to a lesser extent, Ohio Craycrafts, I thoght I'd write to say Hello.
I'm from Bethel, Ohio (about 30 miles east of Cincinnati). My grandparents (both recently deceased) are Leroy and Marjorie (nee Paulson) Craycraft. My father, Kenneth Roy Craycraft, was killed in a car accident in August 1962 (three months before I was born). My fathers four brothers are Terry Lee, Carl, Roger Townsend and Leroy. Carl is in Lexington, Roger in Tampa, FL, and Leroy and Terry in Cincinnati and Middletown, OH respectively.

I am looking for my half sister, Vonda Lynn Craycraft Sumrall, I have not seen her in 20 years. She lived in Maryland, maybe now Virginia, and had my niece Heather Sumrall before I left in 1978.
