Our Angel is in Heaven. Stacy Lee Evrard, 38, and resident of Coupeville, died suddenly on Saturday the 15th of April 2000 at Harborview Hospital in Seattle. Born and raised in Cape Elizabeth Maine, she joined the Navy where she met her husband and friend, Andy Evrard. They married in 1980, gave birth to daughter Shawn Lee in 1981, then the family followed Andy's Navy career to Whidbey Island in 1987.

She is survived by the pride of her life and best friend, daughter Shawn Lee Evrard, and her other best friend, husband, Andy Evrard. She is also survived by her father, Edward Jordan, and 4 sisters, Brenda Smith, Cheryl Wildes, Kim Blair and Jo-Lyn Jordan and a brother Edward Jordan Jr.. 

Memorial services were held on Thursday, April 20,2000 at 11:00 a.m. at the Coupeville Four Square Church.

It is great sadness that I post this piece of my sister's obituary for my readers. Stacy fought a long hard battle against this devastating disease. For all of you that have known her in person or through my website, I thought you should know. Eating Disorders do kill. Even the toughest people die from them. Please let her story help in warning others of the danger. Get help and get it early. Stacy was on her way to a 6 month treatment program when an infection set in and ended any chance of recovery. Don't allow your chance or the chance of a loved one come too late.
