Luna: The Gaurdian of the Senshi

Ok, I hear you. Why would anyone ever have a profile on Luna? Well answer me this: How come no-one ever has a profile on Luna? That's what I thought. From the very first episode, Luna has always intrigued me. Besides the fact that she's a talking cat with a crescent moon, she is so wise, so practical. She always knows what to do in almost any situation. She can even type, for Christ's sake! Give her a break!

Luna found all but one of the inner senshi, and trained each of them. She is Usagi's gaurdian and friend, though most of the time she just ends up scolding her. She loves her ward very deeply and always looks out for her, even when that's the last thing Usagi wants. Before the arrival of the outer senshi, she was the mature guide behind the Sailor Senshi, offering cool, calm reasoning to every situation. In the manga, she opperated the Senshi Central Headquarters, relaying vital information to her soldiers during battle.

As the series progressed, Luna faded more and more into the background. Until finally the focus finally shifted to this gentle gaurdian. For the first time ever (at least in the anime), Luna was shown to have feelings, emotions, and even regrets. She finally became a real character. But to do this, she had to become human.

In human form, Luna is just plain gorgeous (in my opinion, anyway). Curly locks of raven flow down her black, arranged in her variation of the Moon Kingdom's signature odangos. Her soulful black eyes sparkle, her crescent moon shines, and her yellow/black dress flatters her perfectly.
