On
the stage is a young girl with a violin. Her hands slide the bow across the strings
with grace and confidence. Her aquamarine hair flows down just past her shoulders,
playing in the breeze from an open window. Her eyes, the same blue-green color as
her hair, cocentrate intently on the strings of her instrument.
This is Michiru Kaioh, the multi-talented beautiful girl of Tokoyo. But secretly she is also Sailor Neptune, gaurdian of the Deep Aqua Mirror, one of the Three Talismans. With her faithful partner, Sailor Uranus, she searched for the Three Talismans, unaware that she herself held one, as did Sailor Uranus.
Michiru is taleneted not only in music, but in the visual arts as well. She draws and paints beautiful pictures. She also swims competitively. She is so beautiful, so graceful, so close to perfect, that many people find her more than a little intimidating. Her closet friend is Haruka Tenoh, Sailor Uranus's civilian form.
You can't really talk about Michiru without mentioning Haruka. The two are devoted to one another, closer than any friends could ever be. They regularly take blows for one another, jumping in front of enemy attacks. Their relationship is the subject of contreversy, though (in my opinion) they're the second most important couple in the story. (Sorry but Usagi Mamoru still take the cake in that department.) I wish people would get off their case. Michiru is somtimes annoyingly perfect, but I still think she's one of the prettiest senshi.
