Amateur Telescope Making

Last update: 07/21/2009

The best thing we're put here for's to see;
The strongest thing that's given us to see with's a telescope.
Someone in every town, seems to me, owes it to the town to keep one.

Georgia on my mind

This site is dedicated to my Amateur Telescope Making efforts. My other interest is electronics. I have links to several electronic parts dealers that may be of value to those who are interested in building a alt/az computer controlled motorized telescope. To see my alt/az computer control project and other electronic ATM related devices follow this link.

To the left are links to other ATM sites. These include links to fellow ATM's who have provided much needed information of use to the budding ATM. At the end of this page are links to members of the ATM web ring. A valuable resource. I also have links to ATM's, with a commercial vain, who provide tools, materials, and telescope parts to use during construction of a telescope or making a mirror. These can be found under commercial ATM links.

Looking for a HTML editor! This is the program I use to hold
this site together. It can't be beat for the price.
**UPDATE**
The Author sold the HTML editor to Coffee Cup Software a good while back
so I have no idea what they may have done to it since.

This is a really good GIF animation creator program
