Art Supervisor
With over 18 years of diverse experience, I am extremely fast,
versatile and reliable. I have been a consistent high-performer
throughout my career, and am a perfectionist in my work. I love
my job and am passionate about doing great advertising.
As a student during the pre-computer era, I learned to concept
with pencil, and mastered such bygone skills as hand-kerned type,
mechanical keylining and print production. When computers arrived
I quickly learned how to apply the speed and efficiency they offered.
This combination of old and new skills gives me a distinct advantage;
I can crank out reams of concepts on paper, then expertly transfer
them to electronic layout. I am also a skilled Illustrator, which
aids in my ability to create striking visual communications.
Raised in New Hampshire, I've got a good old-fashioned "New England
work ethic" (meaning I work like a dog). I can write copy, to
the degree that many of my headlines make it to the finished piece.
My client skills are such that I have made presentations alone,
as the sole agency representative. As a former Creative Director
I am experienced in managing creatives, working with account teams
and organizing complex projects.
I am resourceful in dealing with tight budgets, deadlines and
suppliers to ensure the success of each assignment. I've been
fortunate to work in a variety of marketing catagories, each of
which provided unique skills and perspective. These include graphic
design, consumer print and TV, business-to-business, medical,
direct mail, promotional, and more recently internet and web-based
marketing.
Please take a moment to review my work history, and imagine how
my skills could be a benefit to you and your company.
