Welcome back!
That's right-- much like that crazy uncle who only shows up around the holidays, the Davis Tennis Magazine has returned! In
this, our first issue since Federer became a father, it is all about the young ladies. The Davis High School Girls Tennis
Team just finished an undefeated Delta Valley Conference season making their way to the Sac-Joaquin sectional finals against
St. Francis of Sacramento. While Davis couldn't get past the ladies in black and red, a second place finish in the section
is a tremendous accomplishment. Congrats, Blue Devils-- Delta Valley Champions!!

Shira and Liz played their last games as Blue Devils. Their leadership really set the tone this year....

Ines was the only Blue Devil to win a match at the section
finals, pulling it out in three tough sets. Here she is seen getting a call from her agent regarding an endorsement deal with
Volleys Tennis Shop.
Ines, Mari, Naomi, Anna, Grace, Briki, Caron, Megan, Hanna,
Ceci, Ginny, Kelly, Eliana, Jasmine, and Natalie all had great seasons for Davis and look to add even more wins next
year....
The ladies also want to thank all the fans and supporters
this year and especially all those who came to the fundraising dinner and otherwise contributed to the team's winning season.
