R.P. CONNER, PhD., is the author of Blossom of Bone:
Reclaiming the Connections Between Homoeroticism and the Sacred, and co-author with his life partner and daughter
of the Encyclopedia of Queer Myth Symbol and Spirit. He is the author of Queering Creole Spiritual Traditions,
and a co-contributor, with David, to This Bridge We Call Home.
He is also an educator, and spiritual and political activist. He has currently finished a major new analysis of the poetry
and life of Charles Baudelaire and his companion entitled: The Mirror of Jeanne Duval/Miwa Jeanne Duval: Baudelaire's Visionary
Poetics in the Cosmos of Vodou. He is now working on a book of personal essays, and several fiction projects.
He recently
received his doctorate from California Institute of Integral Studies. His doctoral thesis is entitled: "The Pagan Muse: Its
Influence In Western Culture: Embodying and Transmitting Ancient Wisdom from the Middle Ages through the Early Twentieth Century."
D.H. Sparks is a composer, ethnomusicologist, writer, and librarian.
He writes on GLBT issues, and gender and music.
He has written and performed chamber music, music for the theater, as well as in popular genres, including the musical play,

He is currently finishing a manuscript entitled, Wings of Eros, Dance of Dionysis:
Exploring Queer Innovations for Relationships, Families, and Communities."
