CD-4	Gems for English Horn With Patrick McFarland, English horn Our recent release "Gems for English horn" has garnered excellent reviews. This CD opens with a seductive arrangement of the Vocalise by Rachmaninov for English horn and string sextet. The charming selections from The Seasons by Tchaikovsky, originally for solo piano, have been arranged for English horn with Piano by Renate Rosenblatt. The four movements are titled, January (At the Fireside) June (Barcarolle) October (Song of Autumn and April (Snowdrop). The lovely Adagio for English horn and strings by Mozart follows. The very sensuous Ravel composition, Piece in the Form of a Habanera follows. The grand finale to this recording is the Ferlindes/Kraus Concerto in C Major for English horn with orchestra. The finale features a rolicking set of variations on an opera aria by Paisielo that closes in grand "Presto" style. This is a superb addition to your CD music library.	$15.75
