Rain Bird International manufactures complex, high-tech irrigation equipment used in agriculture worldwide. The challenge here was to design a collection of reference materials in many languages for users already familiar with Rain Bird products, but frustrated by the piece-meal aspect of the accompanying documentation. The resulting small reference library would allow users to upgrade existing product components without losing their connection to the larger family of Rain Bird products. Visual uniformity in design, accurate localized translation, and generous illustration were key to making this happen.
