February, 1824 at Blackstock, Chester County, South Carolina. Was
living in Autauga County, Alabama at the time of the war. Gravesite is
located in the Magnolia Cemetery in Mobile, Alabama.
Married to Laura Lucella Mitchell on 11 March,
1845. Children: Josephine, Maria, Julia, Kate, John, Joseph, Lilla,
Samuel, Laura and Margaret
