980228: M51 in a 15 minute exposure at -15C. SBIG ST-8 in hi-res (9u pixel) mode with Celestron C14 at f7. I used a flat field image taken early that evening at the same resolution.  Note what appears to be 2 small stars to the right of each bright star. This is apparently a tracking defect, presumably caused by mirror shift. I'll try for a better shot sometime.
