Tallulah Gorge has recently been established  as a Georgia State Park, and is administered by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR).  Due to the fragile nature of this area, access will be limited to 120 boaters per day (currently, limits for all other users including climbers and hikers is limited to 100 people per day).  To help administer this program, to protect the resource, and to be as fair as possible, American Whitewater and the Georgia Canoe Association have helped Georgia DNR produce this permit.  If you have comments on this permit, please contact American Whitewater at (301) 589-9453.
