The Pandas at the Atlanta
Zoo are just the right age to play. They are 10 years old, and love
to interact. They are old enough to mate, but are not doing so. Since
there are only about 500 protected in preserves and another 1200 in the
wild, which could be killed. Therefore, the only chance of
their survival is by captive breeding.
The best times to see the Pandas are; the first
thing in the morning, near 9 am. Or just before the zoo closes at 5 pm.
