In 1967, I started making photos with a Kodak Instamatic 500 camera. The Instamatic 500 had an artistically bad  square 28mm format .  But the 500 was capable of focusing and had a match needle exposure system.  .  The picture below is of  a steam engine in Anchorage, Alaska sandwiched with another slide of stained glass.  The glass symbolizing ice crystals and the northern lights.  These pictures were entered as you see them or as prints to win many awards.

The 2nd photo is a cibachrome print as entered in several competitions..  A tail light lens of a Volvo.  With Doug's psychic predictions, Life imitates Art & dreams. . . Quality is art too, this Photo was made on 4" x 5" Fugi transparency film, with 20 times the quality of 35 mm. Notice how the view camera can selectively focus so the grass is "tack sharp", while the trees at the same distance above are out of focus. . The Governor's mansion in Atlanta.
