Are GTE Members Destined to Serve Life in Local 9510?
Karla Faye Tucker was executed this evening by the state of Texas after appeals to reduce her death penalty sentence were denied. Karla was convicted of murdering two individuals with a pick-ax.
It appears GTE Members may serve Life Sentence in Local 9510 after an attempt to hold a referendum vote to merge with CWA Local 9588 was denied.
From the viewing area of the execution a relative of one of the victims says, "Here she is baby doll. She's all yours." [note to self, research 'revenge beatings' in the hereafter?]
Karla Tucker's only hope to a one time, 30-day, reprieve. After appeal was denied Bush vows not to intercede.
Nita Moreno keeps vow to defeat any attempt by GTE members to escape from Local 9510. Moreno alerts all allies to keep control. Fearing Moreno might use her LTW (union paid time off the job) Union Ax on them, stewards quickly comply.
Karla Faye Tucker leaves her final meal of peach slices, a banana and tossed salad untouched.
Miss a time limit on grievance? Perhaps on occasion, but miss a meal? Never! Tonight's feeding frenzy takes place over fried chicken. House regulars in Local 9510 would fight over leftovers on the buffet table of the Titanic before looking for a lifeboat.
Final words of Karla Faye Tucker, convicted ax murderer and later declared born-again Christian, "I am going to be face to face with Jesus now. I will see you all when I get there."
Closing comments of Mike Meyer, Local 9510 Steward, self proclaimed ex-all around bad guy, now born-again Christian. Mike speaks on that rarely known but ofttimes-used passage in the bible, "He who is amongst the majority, may spew forth hatred and wrath upon thy brethren in the minority". Meyer then accuses Vice President Drake of being everything but the anti-christ. Compares Drake to David Karesh and ex-reverend Jim Jones! [note to self, avoid drinking from small paper cups containing Kool-Aid at future membership meetings!]
Execution begins at 6:37pm. Karla was pronounced dead at 6:45pm.
Meeting begins at 6:30pm. Meeting is adjourned and referendum attempt is officially dead at 7:00pm.
First woman to be executed in 100 years.
Mike Drake is offered up to the Union gods for slaughter every other month.
