Resolved - It was agreed to pursue a “hardship” transfer due to her medical condition. However, the grievant was recently offered a transfer and accepted it, which has resolved the nature of the grievance.

960622 (1472 Edinger) - Transfer bypass due to metering.
No agreement - Step II. No further action taken.

970003 (1472 Edinger) - Improper pay treatment, disparate treatment.
No agreement - Step II. No further action taken.

970038 (1472 Edinger) - Unjust documentation and attendance counseling.
Resolved - problem solving. The counseling will be removed. All documentation concerning this incident will be removed and destroyed.

970043 ( 1265 Van Buren) - Unjust pulling of transfer request.
Resolved - Step II. Once the grievant has attained 6 consecutive months or 2 consecutive quarters of “meets” or “above” performance, mgmt will sign off on his AUTS transfer requests.

970105 (Orange Headquarters) - Mgmt forcing employees to move from coin to svc. ops.
Resolved - problem solving. No O.C. employees will be forced to move permanently to Svc. Ops.

970114 (1452 Edinger) - Disparity in the work group, OT bypass.
Resolved - Step I. Mgmt will offer the grievant a double shift at his convenience.

970115 (1452 Edinger) - Mgmt doing craft work.
Resolved - Step I. Mgmt is not to perform bargaining unit work at any time.

970116 (1452 Edinger) - Overtime bypass.
Resolved - Step I. Supervisors will be notified that qualified employees will be offered overtime before non-qualified employees.

970118 (1452 Edinger) - Grievant denied call out for overtime (bypass).
Resolved - Step I. Mgmt will use the overtime list with any and all overtime to be offered.

970121 (1472 Edinger) - Mgmt not dealing in good faith, unjust memo.
Resolved - problem solving. Will search for memos regarding activities on work time; mgmt will plan and evaluate a positive draft of corporate principles interpretation with reference to activities on work time for initial training; mgmt will involve union on disciplinary action on employee performing inappropriate activities on company time or if the employee is trending.

970122 (1472 Edinger) - Unjust 3-day suspension for tardies.
Resolved - Step I. Mgmt will remove and destroy all documentation in the file; reimburse grievant for suspension; and make employee whole due to extenuating circumstances (Sig Alert).

970125 (Laguna Niguel C.O.) - Splicing tech working on MDF in Laguna C.O.
Resolved - Step I. Splicer was not doing frame work. All splicers will be covered on the frame log and instructed to use it.

970126 (23011 El Toro Rd) - Splicing tech running DSX jumpers at the El Toro C.O. switchroom.
Resolved - Step I. All splicers will be covered not to run jumpers in DSX.

970127 (Laguna Niguel C.O.) - Unsafe working conditions.
Resolved - Mgmt did not observe any safety violations but will cover techs on the safety policies for the C.O.

970136 (Tustin C.O.) - Testing tech attempting to shoot a case of trouble in the Tustin switch room.
Resolved - Step I. Mgmt will cover all TDTs not to do NTEC work if no coverage at Tustin, contact WMC and supervisor.

970141 (970372--GTE/Slater Yard) - 2-day suspension due to an unexcused absence of 6 hours.
Withdrawn without prejudice. Grievant refused union representation and requested no grievance to be filed.

Resolved - Step I. Mgmt will issue a memo regarding making busy vs. hitting closed key.

970149 (1472 Edinger) - Harassment.
Resolved - Step I. Mgmt will issue a memo regarding long calls.

970157 (1472 Edinger) - Not dealing in good faith through dishonesty in 2/11/97 grievance meeting.
