Essentials of General, Organic
and Biochemistry is a
one-semester allied health
chemistry textbook. It was
mainly used in nursing chemistry
courses. It had basic
general chemistry which supported
a survey of organic
chemistry which could be used
to understand the
fundamentals of biochemistry
and physiological chemistry.
I used the preparatory chemistry
book as a beginning
and then wrote all new material
for the two principal
sections on organic and biochemistry.
Actually this
book was a pared down version
of the two-semester
textbook, General, Organic,
and Biological Chemistry.
