rear wheel Dyno Testing

add 20% back for auto trans and rear end.

Not bad for a stock 350, after all (IT IS 38 Years Old)

And My Everyday Driver

 

Mar 28 2000 New Heads

268hp/335hp

After Edelbrock Aluminum Heads (right out of the box)

Maybe a port and polish later !! :)

 

Redoing all the Plumbing with Earls Fittings & Hoses

would loose parts and break a few as well not to mention  the runs in the paint

OK Boys and Girls NOW where talking Motors

With alot of help from my Friends at Napa Premier Service Center (770-428-2520)

Out with the 350. and the Monkey in the picture

 In with a Racing Built 435 horse power

383 Stroker, in addition new Flowmaster exhaust

We used the following components:

Short Block $2499.00

-Clevite “H” Series bearings  -Durabond Cam bearings

-Billet Steel Main caps-ARP main studs 

-Rods- 4130 Comp Series Forged “H” BeamRods with ARP fasteners

-Pistons-SRP forged pistons  -Moly file fit rings

-Crank- 4130 Forged Non-Twist crankshaft

Plus Adding on

Chrome Water pump-$210 Weiand    Chrome oil pan-$99.95 

Oil pump and pick up $55.98    Damper- lightweight $99.95

Comp cam 12-242-3-$110.70    Lifters--$49.00

Timing set-3 way adjustable gear-$64.13    Gaskets $32.00 all Fel-Pro

Cam retainer plate and button-$11.15    Labor to install parts degree cam-$125.00

Dewitts All Aluminum Radiator $695.00  Misc. Earls Braded Hoses and Clamps $200.00

The total $4306.86 for all the above.
