Ballinbubber Abbey is 33 miles from Ashford Castle and it takes roughly 50 min. to cover the distance. As we made the winding, bumpy drive in the rain, I couldn't help thinking about Pierce, Keely, their family and their friends traveling down the same road before THE wedding in Aug. of 2001 and seeing the very same sights we were seeing.
