Someone's caught me by the heart;

She's a lady rare.

I've been smitten, 'tis true,

But what can I do?

It's clear--I'm in her spell.

Like a lingering memory,

Laura haunts my soul.

She's a sweet melody,

A cool summer breeze--

A jewel beyond compare.

She's the leading lady;

She's the star of the show.

And though no limelight she sees,

She's this leading man's fantasy.

Loving her is worth the risk--

Who says business and pleasure never mix?
