Sõna's flexible interface allows you to work in a number of different ways. Still, we recommend the following four-step approach:
1 Start with the Review List pane to familiarize yourself with the list and examples of usage.2 Focus on individual items in the Review Cards pane. This section also allows you to hear sound files.
3 Test yourself for recognition in the Multiple Choice pane. To practice listening comprehension, hide the examples of usage and just listen to associated sound files.
4 Test yourself for active mastery in the Type Word pane. For the greatest challenge, hide the examples and set prompts to your native language, so you'll need to enter vocabulary in the target language with proper spelling.
